This position will be with AEGON Asset Management, the organization which oversees asset management for many of Transamerica''s insurance and operating companies as well as third party clients. Responsibilities:_
The Banking Operations Team in Securities and Alternatives Operations is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Intermediate Investment Analyst. This position will be responsible for supporting the needs of Front Office and Client Services related to cash, including cash publishing, research, issue resolution, and communication. In addition, this position may assist with other team functions including trade settlement, portfolio administration, corporate actions, and related projects.
Primary duties for this position would include but are not limited to:
Daily publishing and reconciliation of cash balances on Aladdin, beginning at 6:00 am daily
Investigating and resolving cash discrepancies by working with banks and other groups within Asset Operations
Providing cash information to Client Services and Front Office
Communicating cash issues to Front Office, Portfolio Risk Control, and other impacted data consumers
Settling trades with brokers and counterparties, working with the Font Office as needed
Assisting with the set up of portfolios and bank accounts
_Qualifications - Intermediate_
Working knowledge of fixed income products and investment processes preferred
Very strong customer service skills
Strong analytical, problem recognition and resolution, organizational, and communication skills are required
Working knowledge of how data flows within AEGON Investments Division is preferred
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, detail oriented, accurate, and analytical
Experience with Aladdin preferred
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.
_Qualifications - Analyst_
Working knowledge of fixed income products and investment processes preferred
Strong customer service skills
Demonstrated, organizational and communication skills
Working knowledge of how data flows within AEGON Investments Division is preferred
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, detail oriented, accurate, and analytical
Experience with Aladdin desired
Working knowledge of desktop tools, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
