ROLE SYNOPSIS
Works with crew members to ensure safe and timely delivery of product to end customer. Candidate will manage a small team of Material Handlers. This will include assigning daily tasks to ensure order fulfillment, delegating overall warehouse duties including general maintenance and cleanliness of facility, loading and unloading assignments, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Check in at the beginning of shift to do shift changes and conduct daily safety meeting.
Ensure everyone knows what their responsibilities are for the day.
Completing and processing paperwork as needed.
Ensure jobs and orders are being processed on time and accurately.
Ensure employees are working safely and on task.
Work with incoming shift Warehouse Supervisor to ensure they are aware of overall progress and completion of orders during shift and what needs to be finished.
Perform product handling and inventory management functions.
Ensure properly document receipt and shipment of all products
Review load sheets and verify accuracy.
Orders products in quantities required to maintain proper inventory levels
Reviews dispatch sheets to determine type of job and materials required for jobs.
Communicate with maintenance and/or operations personnel relative to equipment status.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2
years' experience as a material handler
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day
Be on feet for extended periods
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Prior leadership/supervisory experience
Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Prior SAP experience
Forklift Experience
Experience handling chemicals
