Position Description GENERAL FUNCTION:
Serve as the primary liaison between Platform and partner teams, analyzing product needs for clients. Specifically, the liaison would research and determine impacts to FDR systems, support and processes.
The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of the Platform Analyst team. The analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness, quality, and support. The analyst will also perform audit reviews of tasks and/or projects, as needed. Additionally, the Business Analyst will be responsible for leading and/or supporting a number of key projects, product releases and initiatives impacting the business unit and the company. The analyst will design and generates consistent, standardized reporting processes as part of research and analysis. The analyst will partners with leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational strategies, to ensure business and client needs are met and financial objectives are achieved.
The Business Analyst will maintain a strong partnership with the following teams to ensure alignment with business strategies and expectations: Product, Line of Business, and Operational teams, including: Contact Center, Back Office, Client Services, Quality Assurance, Training & Development and Workforce Management.
DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary liaison between IT, Operations and the Line of Business throughout the project cycle.
Dissect high level business requirements into system-specific functional requirement and design specifications.
Provides project guidance to ensure system enhancements follow the appropriate guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements, and are completed in a timely fashion.
Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, SOPs, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects.
Reviews operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
Perform audits on tasks and/or projects to ensure correct set-ups prior to the implementation date.
Identifies, researches, and analyzes production problems in order to develop solutions to resolve problems.
Provides training of users and operational personnel on new features and system enhancements.
Actively involved in the Quality Assurance testing of the delivered system against the defined requirements.
Keeps current with trends and technological innovations in the payments and IT industries, and makes appropriate development recommendations.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
None Position Requirements MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent, with 3 or more years of experience on the FDR system.
Sound understanding of business systems and technology along with industry standard requirements.
Ability to clearly communicate concepts verbally and in written form is a mandatory requirement of this position.
Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills. Attentive to detail and ability to multi-task.
Proficient using Microsoft Office applications, Visio, Interaction Client, and ability to learn new software as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
