ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Analyze, design, develop and support the implementation of business rules supporting a decision management system as part of the Rule Authoring Team. This includes business rule sets, decision tables, rule flows, etc., while applying decision logic to be promoted formally and managed through life cycles. Supports the business team translating and validating business policies into rules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture, analyze, design, author, test and implement decision logic as defined by business needs.
Assist business in identifying existing business rules to support the development of solutions and recommendations for business requirements with business rules.
Collaborate on best practices with analysis and design to identify key decision points supporting the implementation of business policies into business rules.
Follow standards and support impact analysis for new or updated business logic.
Participate in analysis, development and testing support of business output for applicable systems and processes.
Assist in estimation and planning of work effort for assigned projects.
Serve as department representative supporting Project Team (Project Manager, Business Analysts, Business Architect and Software Engineers).
Requirements: MINIMUM:
Minimum of BA/BS with 1 - 3 years experience, or without degree a minimum 3 years of Univita experience.
Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency or moderate skills with high level of proficiency.
PREFERRED:
Certifications and
Experience:
Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Word
Technical skills - SQL
Analytics - math, statistics, modeling, etc
Development methodology/process experience (waterfall, agile, or others)
Business use case and modeling development experience
Use case model and specification development experience
Requirements traceability experience
