The Census Bureau is seeking bright, innovative, results-oriented individuals to join our Pathways- Internship Program. The Pathways Internship Program targets students accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program (diploma, certificate, etc.) in an accredited/qualifying educational institution, on a full or half-time basis. (Applicants who do not meet the definition of student, will not be considered). Internships can be seasonal (spring, summer, fall) or year round. At the successful conclusion of this program, you may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to a Federal career or career-conditional position. Interns may work full-time or part-time schedules.
Any required investigations and clearances must be completed before the selectee can be placed in the position.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 - must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA throughout the entire internship appointment.
Some internships may be available within our 6 Regional Offices and the National Processing Center Jeffersonville, Indiana.
More than one selection may be made from this announcement should the need arise.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
