Leads, plans, organizes and directs the Environmental Toxic Tort (ETT) claims unit for the Complex & Emerging Risks Claims Department. Responsible for developing, measuring, and balancing short-term priorities with long term strategic business plans. Manages a unit which has countrywide responsibility for all Pollution & Miscellaneous Toxic Tort claims arising from business underwritten by Liberty Mutual Insurance and its member companies. Develops and manages claims metrics. Maximizes efficiencies and outcomes through implementation of Best Practices. Effectively uses data/analytics to assess and benchmark organizational performance and to manage external law firm relationships and performance. Creates a positive and highly productive environment conducive to innovative thinking, training, development and advancement of staff.
Strong technical knowledge with proven management experience handling asbestos, environmental or high exposure claims. Extensive knowledge of insurance state regulatory environments and financial & actuarial practices as they apply to claims. Demonstrated ability to lead a geographically diverse staff to obtain excellent outcomes. Ability to work collaboratively with peers within the department and across the organization. Bachelor''s degree and 10 or more years of industry experience required. Advanced degree or industry certifications preferred.
Finance & AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
