Liberty Mutual Personal Insurance IT is actively searching for IT Project Managers.Personal Insurance IT supports the Personal Insurance business unit which ranks #6 in personal auto and property premium, with nearly 5% market share.We are a market leader in distribution capabilities, offering customers unrivaled access to our products and services through multiple channels.In this position, you will be an integral part of the PIIT Information Managament (IM) team, providing leadership and project focus on large scale projects. IM is the information/data group which supports the Datewarehouse used in all of Personal Insurance''s lines.
Responsibilities:

Oversees the planning and implementation of multiple IT projects in a Data Warehousing environment with a defined beginning and end

Partners with project sponsor to define project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget. Establishes project charter and plan, including success criteria

Oversees the evaluation of business and system requirements and project related research on businessand technical trends and dependencies Leads and directs project teams to meet project objectives

Reviews, evaluates, baselines and executes project plans, schedules and budgets

Allocates staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs

Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives andsuccess criteria

Organizes and guides project operations through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry

Modifies schedules as required

Provides input into staff performance evaluations and objectives

Provides coaching, mentoring and guidance to project team members and/or others in ProjectManagement roles

Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support

Keeps informed of advances in technology and Project Management

Functions independently with limited supervision from a Manager or Director

Performs related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications:

Bachelor''s Degree inInformation Systems, Business Administrationor Computer Science and 5-8 or more years related experience as aProject Manager with focus on software development projects, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience managing large scale projects (500K -2M)specifically within the Information Management/Data Management/Customer Data Integration

Experience managing projects in the following technical environment - Large Data Warehouse, Teradata, Informatica, MicroStrategy and Siperian (MDM)

Ability to deliver a project/product on time and meets both internal and customer specifications

Ensures team delivers accurate and complete project documentation as defined by Liberty Mutual Insurance standards

Ensures team adheres to Liberty''s standard technology and processes

Participates in the improvement of the Project Management Discipline

Ensures financials are viable and kept up to date throughout project

Ensures communications with stakeholders occurs seamlessly and according to plans

Able to manage projects from inception to successful implementation

Able to foster working relationships with the team and client departments

Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives

Thorough knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies, and support tools (MS Project and SharePoint)

Thorough knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and techniques (Project Management certification preferred)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
