Job Description:
The Mission Integration Systems Engineer is responsible for Spacecraft to Launch Vehicle interface requirements management. Roles and responsibilities are to support the development and management of the Spacecraft to Launch Vehicle mission interface requirements throughout the lifecycle of the mission. This includes addressing compatibility of spacecraft customer requirements to standard launch service; traceability of applicable customer requirements to the mission Interface Control Document (ICD); development, baseline and configuration control of the mission ICD; development, coordination and closure of mission interface requirement verifications; development, coordination and closure of mission interface launch system derived requirements and associated verifications. Additional responsibilities include customer and working group meeting interaction and support; development and presentation of briefings to ULA management and mission customers; lessons learned /open item/ action item coordination and closure; identification of process improvements; risk management identification; command media development and CMMI implementation.
The systems engineer performs technical planning, systems integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for the total integrated systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Responsible for coordination with launch system functional technical areas to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or launch system requirements into total system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Responsible for performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies of customer requirements for flow down into launch systems hardware and software specifications.
Performs system and subsystem integration ensuring that subsystems function together as an integrated system. Brings together discrete systems utilizing a variety of methods including systems engineering, technical risk assessments, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses of total systems throughout the system lifecycle. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, certification, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. May lead cross-functional teams and play a critical role in process and tool development, execution, and continuous improvement.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
General computer skills using PC-Based Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Experience working and communicating within a team environment (Can include college coursework)
Candidates must have completed their degree between June 2012 and June 2014.
Candidate must have a cumulative GPA of 2.90 or greater on a 4.00 scale (No rounding)

If a candidate is extended an offer and accepts the offer, ULA must receive an official transcript.
Some travel up to 10%
Able obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
