Corporate Human Resources plays an integral role in designing, implementing, and managing global initiatives across the firm. The functional areas within Corporate HR include global recruiting, training, talent and development, career management, diversity, compensation, benefits, employee relations, technology, finance and HR service delivery ( HRSD). The onboarding specialist would;
Coordinate with local staffing office for I-9 completion and return signed offer letter
Create offer package for candidate
Facilitate Pre-employment Processing including candidate follow-up
Work closely with the candidates who accept offers to ensure that they fully understand and complete the on-boarding process
Check test results in PEAX, FPTS, BIG, etc.
Ensure timely completion of pre-employment tests
Resolve issues by following up with candidates and securing necessary documentation
Follow up to ensure candidates that are not starting are dealt with appropriately within PeopleSoft/New Hire Processing
Notify manager of start date and next steps prior to start
Process transfers in Manager Connection
Process relocations requests via relocation database
Process corrections to candidate data
Assist with candidate dispositions in Job Connect
Maintain a working knowledge of recruiting procedures and policies; transfer knowledge to entire Staffing Coordinator team
Generate reports as needed
Work with various HR towers to support specific projects, reporting or HR efforts as needed
May assist in initial phases of the process for non-exempt candidates - prescreening, assessments, and scheduling interviews
Maintain data in Job Connect throughout staffing process
Facilitate the pre-placement process with candidates.
## Qualifications
Undergraduate degree, ideally in HR
Ideal candidate brings at least one year of HR experience
Basic understanding of employment processes
Reporting/Project Analyst skills preferred
Job Connect/Taleo, HR Profile and/or PeopleSoft experience preferred
Strong organizational skills/detail oriented required
Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, will interact with all levels of candidates and employees/management
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment where work tasks vary and processes are changing
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions and determine root cause in order to prevent future occurrences
Issue follow-up and timely resolution
PC skills - advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, charts, formulas; advanced PowerPoint skills

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
