Description
Cool Entertainment Company seeks a well-rounded Systems Administrator to join their IT Organization. You will be responsible for installs, configure, provision, break/fix, and decommission functions of production servers. Respond to customer requests, answer questions and provide guidance to ensure smooth IT service delivery.


Principle Duties /
Responsibilities:
Maintain the strategy and direction of the Corporate Network.
Develop configuration and performance standards for Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012 Server environments; and implement and monitor controls to ensure they are maintained.
Develop plans for implementation of new projects, coordinating process with other team members. Provide well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines and accountability.
Review on a continual basis the department procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs.
Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations which might affect the department and act on as required.
Provide feedback on purchasing decisions based on bid pricing provided.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Disaster Recovery Plan for the network.
Ensure support is provided to internal staff in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
Support and maintain the Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop and XenMobile environment.
Maintain Windows update / patch schedule.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Windows 2003 / 2008 Environment.
Experience in Local and Wide Area Networks and protocols.
Experience with SQL 2005 / 2008.
Must work well within a team and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to operate independently in the absence of strict guidance.
Must possess strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in enterprise level environments, being able to logically step through issues and troubleshoot problems by thinking outside of the box and being creative with your solutions.
Must be able to relate technical issues and requirements to business issues and vice versa and be able to communicate these to non-technical customers.
Strong knowledge of MS Exchange 2010, Active Directory, End Point Protection, and Citrix.
Strong Windows scripting is a must.
Must possess strong knowledge of an enterprise VMware environment.
Working knowledge of various monitoring tools, such as Splunk and Zenoss.
Experience with WSUS / SCCM 2012.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
