Job description
The Territory Manager's primary responsibility is to service key Chicago area contract and retail firms to provide innovative flooring solutions and to develop relationships to enhance our position in the market as the 'go to' flooring products distributor.

Develop strong relationships with contract and retail firm's principals and decision makers to ensure our product lines are 'top of mind' during the decision making process. Become the 'go-to' person they seek for innovative solutions.
Call on firms to keep abreast of specific project and trend information that they are experiencing to uncover sales opportunities.
Educate and inform using product presentations tailored to the specific features and benefits exlemplified by our product lines.
Position and update client's showrooms and design libraries with the most current product literature and samples.
Engage manufacturer representatives and direct their focus and time to the highest and best use to ensure our products well merchandised.
'Flip' specifications. When products other than our own are displayed or specified, find the advantages for the contractor or retailer to switch to our products.
Network with relevant professional organizations.
