Business Systems Analyst- Lawson
Job Summary
Prepares detailed specifications and thought leadership for financial systems and reporting and documents programs, processes, and procedures as needed to support business processes. This person will interact with key internal customers to determine business requirements and translates those into reporting functional specifications within a timely fashion and project scope.
Responsibilities
Develop an in-depth knowledge understanding of the Lawson systems and working with the user community to define their needs and designing and delivering solutions to meet those needs to improve the operational and financial positions of the company.
Responsible for the development and on-going maintenance of current Lawson modules and related applications used in the support of the Accounting and Finance groups.
Provides routine system maintenance to ensure consistency and accuracy of the system
Works with users to identify and define system requirements and enhancements to existing systems and development of new systems to improve departmental efficiency.
Meet with stakeholders regarding their system needs on a regular basis to best determine solutions and resources.
Create reports. Conduct analysis/presentation of targeted data, which will facilitate analysis, interpretation and decision making relative to processes and services.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
BS in Business Administration (MIS), Computer Information Systems or related degree.

years as a Business Systems Analyst
Must have experience with Lawson Accounting modules, including but not limited to, Procurement, General Ledger, Process Flow, BI, and LSF
Experience with MS SQL would be preferred
Experience working within professional services, or consulting, and providing decision support, reporting, and utilization review.
Strong communication skills which include working effectively with internal team members and offsite employees.
A foundation understanding of system management, concepts, and methodology.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
