The PNT Engineer provides innovative customized engineering solutions vital to national security. The PNT Engineer supports the ongoing development and sustainment of solutions for positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) of Government IT systems. The successful candidate must have a broad understanding of technologies and techniques required for PNT including Symmetricom Timing and Frequency Technologies, primary frequency standards, Kalman filters, optimal estimation, inertial navigation, two-way time transfer, and RF digital communications. The candidate must have experience in the development and analysis of T&F; standards and performance requirements. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 12 years of direct and demonstrated experience in the design and development of PNT technologies. Demonstrated expertise with timing and frequency technologies, inertial navigation, two-way time transfer, and RF digital communications. Expertise with GPS applications associated with time recovery, development, deployment; and O&M; associated with timing and frequency reference systems, frequency standards, and SATCOM (RF). Experience in requirements analysis and the development of supporting standards Desired Skills Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Ten years of PNT experience is required with this level of education. Demonstrated expertise in the application of Symmetricom ATS products, Experience with two-way-satellite time and frequency transfer (TWSTFT) Clearance An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
