Summary: Textron Marine & Land Systems is seeking students for a 2014 Summer Internship interested in Human Resources to learn and/or gain experience in some of the following functional areas: recruiting, benefits, HRIS, employee relations and special projects.
Opportunities may include:
Interviews, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical job openings.
Maintain and develop job descriptions, including benchmarking positions.
Participate in college recruiting and job fairs.
Assist employees with general HR questions, concerns and benefit claims.
Learn about HRIS.
Coordinate and participate in benefit activities.
Participate in delivering new hire orientation.
Perform special projects, as needed.
## Qualifications
Education: Must be a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business program.
Minimum GPA of 3.20 or higher.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks simultaneously, identify and solve problems, meet deadlines and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiar with utilizing social networks for recruiting purposes.
Ability to work the standard hours at that facility.
Textron (and its subsidiaries) participates in E-Verify. We will provide the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with information from each new employer's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
