Assembly Workers
This position assists assembling wire for generator's and electrical/control components.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of complex production assembly operations and inspects finished product to ensure compliance with production standards and specifications.
- Assembling components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts/wire/other products as needed.
- Inspects finished products for conformance to specifications.
- Maintains a clean work area and ensures strict adherence to work instructions.
- Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Meets or exceeds productivity and quality standards.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous assembly experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
- Must be able to write & read English.
- Ability to work with tape measure and hand power tools.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to work with small parts.
- Must be able to use both hands and arms in repetitive motion.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Ability to follow specific oral or written instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail resulting in the production of high quality product.
- Must be able to pass background check and physical and drug screen.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour day shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Hand/finger dexterity to grasp and manipulate small parts and tools.
Preferred Experience
- Understanding of electrical & wiring assemblies desirable.
- Assembly and electrical work experience preferred.
Occasionally duties may vary from above as deemed necessary by business conditions as required.
Work hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
Salary: $10.00- $11.00/hrEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
