Your Duties:
This individual will be responsible for working with the Mining leadership to build Stantec's business in the Reno, NV area. The person selected will be a seller/doer in the surface mining industry and will be able to help grow and mentor other mining staff who are added to the group. Specific duties may be assigned with regard to his/her strengths and experience but will generally include:
Business development
Mine design
Report Preparation
Estimating and Scheduling
Financial Analysis
Mine Concepts
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or related industry
Must have a PE in Nevada or be able to immediately obtain a PE in Nevada
Must have 10 - 15 years open pit / surface mine experience
Be proficient in surface mine design software (i.e. Surpac, Maptech, Vulcan)
Must be able to work independently
Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
