ABOUT THE COMPANY
Are you looking for a 40 hour work week? Our client is a leading service organization in the Construction market; they are looking to hire an Assistant Controller. With a growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for the management and reporting of constructions' cash resources including cash flow, accounts receivable and accounts payable
Prepare bank reconciliation, revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Enter, review, and monitor invoices for accuracy into accounting system
Manage the issuance of construction job numbers to Project Managers. Ensures proper authorizations are received
Oversee job cost scheduling reports to confirm completion and ensure accuracy
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and year-end financial information
Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of financial data and governmental reports
Assist team members and manager on other special projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:
CPA preferred, not required

Preferably this individual will be knowledgeable about standard accounting and business procedures used by the Construction Industry
This position requires a self-starter, and someone who is able to prioritize tasks and manage time very wellEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
