Your Duties:
This is an entry level position
Performs assignments designed to develop professional project work experience, requiring application of standard engineering principles, and criteria in carrying a sequence of related engineering tasks with a high level of supervision.
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
Significant amount of guidance is provided in making selections and in the adaptations of engineering principles.
Receives close supervision on new assignments.
Your Capabilities and Credentials:
Develops simplistic project-specific specifications, evaluate proposals, and issue requisitions for discipline-related equipment.
Conducts fundamental engineering calculations and records in accordance with company procedures and formats.
Reviews vendor approval drawings for compliance with contract requirements.
Incorporates vendor information into design document, (i.e., vendor P & ID) and integrate into Company drawings, shop drawings, motor schematics, panels to interconnection drawings, etc.
Completes tasks assigned by discipline manager or project lead engineer within schedule and budget.
Performs assignments requiring application of standard techniques. Procedures and criteria in carrying out engineering related tasks.
Completes engineering tasks assigned by lead engineer. Capable of managing ones own time.
Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
