Location: Lexington, MA
Duration: 12 months and 0-30 hrs/week

Job Description:
This position is to provide support to solid-state and fiber laser development efforts on a part-time (between 0 and 30 hrs/week), as-needed basis. This support will include, but not be limited to, laser design and modeling, laser construction and experimentation, and laser characterization. The candidate must have experience in designing, building, and characterizing lasers. The candidate should have a M. S. degree or above in physics, optical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
