Technical Project Manager II

iSoftStone is looking for a talented Project Manager/ BI Analyst to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for consulting with various internal business teams to translate their reporting & analytic needs into crisp functional specifications and documenting existing implementation requirements. Requirements gathering for feature enhancements will be ongoing and will provide significant client exposure. Documentation and test design will also be a part of the team member's work load.
Qualifications:
Good knowledge of SQL and ability to write medium to complex SQL queries
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling (Kimball Star Schema)
Must know how to write a good functional spec especially for data warehousing projects (logical data models, source to target mapping, use case / test case scenarios)
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, (COSMOS, SQL, Excel)
Ability to deal with ambiguity and churn
Strong business analysis skills are required
Candidates should have a successful history of analyzing and documenting business needs, identifying potential solutions, and developing an argument for one solution over all others
Strong written and oral communication skills are required
Experience with Big Data & COSMOS is a big plus
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies is a plus
An exemplary academic record with computer science, engineering, information systems, or finance coursework is required
Experience and knowledge of various development processes and the software development lifecycle is helpful
