Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Drying and/or Extrusion experience dessired)
Overall accountability to support the installation and on-going optimization of the extrusion based processes within the facility. This will be done by working closely with management and the shop floor to investigate and resolve root cause problems and issues inhibiting the performance of processes and products.
Accountable for overall leadership or support of capital improvement projects including the development of project requirements, project justification, equipment flow sheets and process line layouts. Also accountable for new equipment startup, operator training, written operating procedures and specifications, and process conformance to justification criteria.
Must foster an environment of continuous improvement through the use of lean principles; demonstrate an ability to lead and develop teams that can work together to identify waste and collaboratively work to eliminate it.
Organize and conduct Design of Experiments to determine equipment process and packaging capabilities and efficiencies. Use statistical analysis to help identify equipment limitations and/or areas for improvement. Write and lead all test requests that will be executed on the processing or packaging lines.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Science degree from four-year College or university in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; MS in a related science preferred and 3 to 5 years process engineering experience. Food processing knowledge and/or previous drying experience is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, standard deviation, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and preferably experience in TIMEX an Internet software; Enterprise Resource Planning software; and MS Project Management software.
Other Skills and Abilities
Emphasis and experience in advanced thermodynamics, fluid mechanics is a plus. Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
