Summary:
Successful candidates will be working with private clients, local municipalities, public utilities, and other governmental agencies providing a wide variety of engineering support.
Responsibilities
Responsible for engineering tasks in the site/civil engineering filed through the development of a working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes.
Participate in the presentation of proposed solutions to problems.
Assist in compiling and presenting results of engineering studies.
Manage scope, schedule, and expenditures so that project milestones are accomplished within budget.
Requirements
Applicants must be PE in South Carolina or able to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
Minimum of 10 years practical experience in site development and design, stormwater and sewer design, master planning, and permitting of utilities, roadways, site work, and floodplain management.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Ability to manage and clearly communicate with staff and clients is essential. Prefer candidates familiar with federal, state, and local agency regulations.
Education:
BS degree in Civil Engineering or higher
