Critical Deliverables
SG&A Analysis - Review and analyze monthly U.S./Canada Headquarters SG&A charges and compare with budget and prior year. Identify and communicate variances to facilitate achievement of budget targets.
SG&A Expenses Coordination - Responsible for ongoing coordination of expense coding and to ensure accuracy and recovery of U.S./Canada SG&A expenses.
SG&A Budgeting - Coordinate the U.S. Headquarters annual SG&A budgeting process and possible interim revisions for inclusion in U.S. Operations plan and LEs to ensure accuracy in budgeting and forecasting.
Tax Filing Support Manager with the completion of the annual Corporate Tax package and replies to questions during return preparation and Revenue Agent audits for U.S./Canada Operations to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of filings.
Ill MPC - Coordinate Illinois Manufacturers Purchase Credit and sales tax identification and filings to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Technical Accounting - Research and provide recommendations on technical accounting issues to U.S./Canada Accounting staff to ensure compliance with GAAP and Corporate standards.
Review Management Reporting - Procurement Benefits, Continuous Improvement Tracker, Monthly Financial Book, Quarterly Business Review, and Budget Revisions.
Assist in Coordination of SOX Testing for U.S./Canada - Conduct testing, log results, maintain documentation, assist in assessment of control design and effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills & Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting and a CPA (or similar accounting designation) preferred.
Work experience in a corporate environment.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Proven proficiency in the use of Windows software programs (i.e., Excel, Access, etc.).
SAP and BPC experience a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
