Responsible for assisting the Assistant Store Manager within the Lands' End department, as well as directly executing associates' responsibilities, such as, maintaining knowledge of products and using this knowledge to assist and educate customers on options available, providing customer assistance and delivering a positive customer shopping experience.
o Performs Lands' End customer assistant job duties
o Supports the Softlines Assistant Store Manager in developing a high performance team by assisting in scheduling and general supervision of Lands' End associates, as well as training and coaching on product knowledge, merchandise presentation skills and customer service tactics to enhance sales
o Supports the Softlines Assistant Store Manager in developing a high performance team by assisting in scheduling and general supervision of Lands' End associates, as well as training and coaching on product knowledge, merchandise presentation skills and customer service tactics to enhance sales
o Supports the Softlines Assistant Store Manager in developing a high performance team by assisting in scheduling and general supervision of Lands' End associates, as well as training and coaching on product knowledge, merchandise presentation skills and customer service tactics to enhance sales
o Participates in interviews with job applicants and provides input to the Softlines Assistant Store Manager during the selection process
o Understands website navigation and proactively leverages technology in order to facilitate the customer experience
o Leads by example to provide superior customer service (i.e., locate merchandise, assist customers, answer phones, partner with store cashier when assistance is required to ring register, etc.)
o Acts as a role model and personally contributes to attainment of department goals
o Ensures that the department is easy to shop, clean and organized for customers
o Facilitates efficient replenishment flow and representation of merchandise, including ensuring clearance product flow
o Ensures optimization of credit, gift card, multi-channel and Shop Your Way Rewards opportunities
o Executes collateral and nonpromotional signing at product level
o Accompanies the Softlines Assistant Store Manager and Lands' End District Manager during the weekly business review to assist in identifying business areas of opportunity and developing action plans for improving the department's performance
o Assists the Softlines Assistant Store Manager and Lands' End District Manager with communications to associates regarding upcoming events, work process changes and Company/business initiatives
o Assists in resolving customer issues and complaints; escalates issues to Softlines Assistant Store Manager as necessary
o Fosters a team environment
o May perform limited store opening and closing activities
o Performs other duties and projects as assigned
o Ability to assist in leading and developing a team of associates
o Strong organizational and project management skills
o Ability to form strong partnerships and communicate well with store team members
o Ability to identify issues and recommend business solutions to the Softlines Assistant Store Manager
o Ability to use email and attachments, internet/intranet and computer systems to access, input, modify or print information or to execute moderately complex programs or analyses
o Must be 18 years of age or olderEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
