Position
Summary:
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for coaching and developing resources to maximize strengths and develop strong, collaborative partnerships across business functions. This includes providing advice and coaching to team members on procedures, technical problems, priorities and standard methodologies. The Engineering Manager is also responsible for providing the technical expertise to prioritize and deliver results for within the Engineering, EHS and Documentation functions.
Key
Responsibilities:
Guide and manage staff responsible for the maintenance, development, delivery and/or acquisition of automation solutions across technologies.
Create and manage automation systems and processes to deliver a quality internal and external customer experience through effective development, support, tools, consistent methodology, continuous improvement and metrics.
Development of site strategic plan for technical staffing, capital investment, maintenance organization/plan and system/technology improvements
Accountability for management of external technical relationships with firms, contractors, and equipment vendors
Provide technical leadership for site compliance with EPA and OSHA requirements in concert with designated functional experts as well as an understanding of FDA regulations to ensure technical solutions comply
Provide site leadership to achieve maximization optimization and utilization of capital assets as well as lead safety initiatives in technical areas - project and maintenance specific.
Develop short term and long range capital investment plans for site and be accountable for the planning and execution of all projects
Responsible for the capital investment process for the site (e.g. standards, project management, capital approval, etc.).
Write and manage specific Capital projects as needed
Develop and support strategies that integrate Continuous Improvement methodologies
Provide site leadership for technical solutions to operational problems including systems optimization, debottlenecking, and troubleshooting.
Accountable for the strategy, design and implementation of automation control systems and manufacturing information systems.
Provide strategy and support for maintenance issues including maintenance programs (predictive, preventive), development of tools and resources, personnel selection, training and development
Responsible for the maintenance and readiness of all facility fixed assets including buildings and site infrastructure.
Leverage and enhance the work system and technical skill level in the maintenance organization
Oversight of maintenance labor, services and supplies budgets, storeroom inventory working capital
Drive strategies for maintenance and equipment/process reliability
Accountable for the strategy, design and implementation of control systems and manufacturing information systems.
Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum of 6 years technical experience in project management, systems or process engineering, or technical discipline engineering in a manufacturing environment with maintenance experience
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Strong track record of engineering aptitude, ability to apply engineering principles, and problem solving
Strong leadership skills, including experience leading others in projects or programs, and the ability to successfully interact with individuals representing other areas or interests and the ability to manage team leaders and associates
Understanding and experience interacting with multiple business functions, including Quality Control, Purchasing, Human Resources, Finance and especially Operations
Ability to identify potential business solutions involving a broad scope of thinking, including in other business areas or functions and the ability to develop new innovation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
