Our agency has been providing unique treatment services for adults with developmental disabilities in behavioral crisis for over fifteen years. We utilize cutting edge treatment practices, and meaningful interdisciplinary team meetings to promote optimal mental and behavioral health for our clients.
We are currently looking for strong, experienced Direct Support staff to work in our residential crisis program in Marin County. The desired candidate must effectively implement therapeutic modalities utilizing a behaviorally oriented approach, with increased structure, and client supervision to facilitate the learning of appropriate home and community integration skills. Direct Support Professionals must have a willingness to learn and utilize behavior modification and crisis intervention strategies. He/She will be required to regularly accurately and efficiently track behavioral data and write daily service notes for each resident. Direct Support Professionals will report directly to the site Director.
Education:
High School Diploma
Qualifications:
Direct Support Professional (DSP) training
Non-Violent Crisis Prevention & Intervention (NCPI) training
Current First Aid/CPR
Must have experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Must be able to work effectively and productively in a supervised setting.
Must be able to work successfully pass fingerprint/background check.
Must have valid driver's license and insurance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
