The candidate maintains a general business practice in order to resolve the various legal and business issues facing a publicly held retailer. Focuses on marketing/advertising matters and various initiatives relating to customer loyalty programs, social media/omnichannel customer engagement and e-commerce. Related areas of practice include consumer protection regulation, privacy and data security, intellectual property and a wide variety of contracts. Provides counsel in support of the Company?s customer-centric initiatives, including television, print, digital and store marketing and advertising programs; social media, omni-channel and e-commerce efforts; loyalty programs; and sweepstakes and contests. Drafts, reviews, edits and negotiates contracts related to a wide array of matters, including technology, professional services, purchase/sale/lease of goods, and other commercial transactions. Counsels the Company on privacy, data security, intellectual property, regulatory compliance and other matters. Develops and implements Company policies and procedures. Anticipates and minimizes potential legal risks. Researches, reviews and provides counsel regarding various matters involving the Company. Manages outside counsel as necessary. Perform other specialized practice areas as assigned by supervisor. Addresses other legal projects as requested by management.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
