A Storage Management Consultant is wanted in Detroit, MI for a 12-month, corp-to-corp engagement. US citizenship is required.
This role will assist in maintaining 6-10 HA controller pairs running in 7mode, backuping via Protection Manager, SnapCreator, and SnapManager Suite (SMO) and reporting, OCUM 5.x. TOI to local staff. Daily operations will include: add/remove volumes/aggregates, advise architects and operations team on best practices, drive issues to resolution with support, and oversee Snapmirror/vault schedule and maintenance.
Required Certifications:
NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)
NetApp Certified SAN Implementation Engineer (NCIE-SAN)
Required Skills (preferably 8-10 years):
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation, customer, business and negotiation skills
Excellent leadership and experience with selling NetApp Value Proposition
Expert Knowledge of NetApp Core Technologies
Consulting on NetApp Best Practices
Expert knowledge of NAS/SAN environments
Expertise with NetApp Data OnTap 7mode
