Job Overview
Perform complex maintenance repair duties necessary to ensure the efficient and continuous operations of production machines and facilities equipment.
Essential Elements
Respond to equipment failures and production problems, making necessary repairs and adjustments to minimize down time and maximize efficiency. Troubleshoot problems, disassemble, repair and reassemble machines including complex electrical and electronic controls equipment. Fabricate replacement parts or make a sketch and have parts made in house or process purchase requisition.
Perform maintenance repair duties on installation, maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment; involving electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulics, welding, painting, plumbing, carpentry and other related trade activities. Perform work in compliance to trade codes and OSHA regulations.
Rig and install new equipment and relocate existing equipment. Supply and connect all electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and level and test machine to ensure proper operation.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of industrial machines, screw machines, CNC and injection molding equipment.
PLC knowledge
Utilize mechanical/electrical schematics in performance of job.
Forklift Certification, ability to use forklift and hand truck.
Secondary Elements
Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance program. Use, store and dispose of hazardous materials in total compliance with state and federal laws.
Prepare and maintain records and reports as required. Maintain established quality standards.
Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly condition and that prescribed safety measures and procedures are followed.
Perform other duties as requested or required.
Job Requirements :
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Technical Certification preferred.

years' experience working as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Operators of Powered Industrial Trucks shall be physically qualified including field of vision, hearing, depth perception and reaction timing.
Employees are required to wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection where required throughout the plant.
Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electricity and administrative knowledge.
Excellent verbal/written communication
Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor and lift objects, climb ladders, operate powered industrial trucks.
Working around potentially hazardous moving equipment and machine parts.
Skin exposure to oils and cutting fluid.
Perform physical labor for most of the working shift.
Ability to adhere to all safety protocols
Intermittent exposure to noise levels loud enough to require the use of hearing protection.
Work in a manufacturing environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
