WEALTH MGMT SPECIALIST
Job Description This position is responsible for assisting Fiduciary Officers in all aspects of day-to-day responsibilities, including reviewing and preparing financial information and providing a high level of customer service to clients.
Maintains relationships with a wide variety of external contacts.
Reviews financial account information to ensure accuracy and comply with policies. Reviews accuracy of tax letters and fiduciary tax returns.
Performs opening and closing account processes.
Prepares probate accounting for review and approval by trust officer.
Assists in estate settlement processes, including asset valuation and in the preparation of estate tax returns.
Processes receipt and distribution of checks and pays bills from fiduciary accounts as authorized.
May perform administrative tasks to support senior management.
Job Requirements College degree or equivalent education required.
1-3 years relevant experience
Strong written and verbal skills are needed to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
Strong analytical skills are needed to review financial information.
Ability to work independently and use own discretion when faced with decision making.
Broad knowledge of the Trust industry and related legal concepts, practices and policies.
Strong PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, internet and internal software

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
