Specialist Legal Counsel
The candidate will report to Senior Director in the Intellectual Property Transactions and Counseling group in charge of strategic IP counseling for company's Enterprise Group, company's Labs and IP sales and licensing. Will be expected to provide business oriented IP transactional legal support in complex IP transactions and take a leadership role in key technology projects or IP sales or licensing programs. J.D. degree and Bar qualifications are required. Membership in Patent Bar is preferred. Appropriate technical degree (EE, CS, or equivalent) preferred. Must have 8+ years of broad technology transactions and business counseling experience, with particular focus on patent sales and licensing. Should have significant post-Bar IP transactional experience, ideally both in law firms and in-house legal departments. Must have a very strong understanding of intellectual property law and significant experience in the following types of transactions: a variety of inbound and outbound patent and technology licenses; R&D programs and related variety of research and development agreements; IP components of commercial agreements for technology products and go-to-market strategies, ranging from supply chain planning, strategic alliances, and distribution; and IP components of M&A transactions, with particular focus on patent or other asset sales and acquisition. Industry knowledge in company's technology fields a significant plus. Experience with patent monetization business models and related transactions a significant plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
