Requirements:
A four year college degree from an accredited institution is necessary. This position is not secretarial or administrative. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply. Desired candidate must be a quick study; who can and will be able to work on multiple projects at once; candidate must be able to work and complete projects independently with minimal supervision and have excellent time management skills.
Duties:
Gather, interpret, and organize information from sources such as Google Scholar, PACER, THOMAS, LEXIS NEXIS and EDGAR;
Utilize translation services to gather public news sources in multiple languages;
Summarize bank statements, tax returns, and other sources of financial data;
Organize large sets of data in excel spread sheets;
Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and presentations;
Answer phones and gather basic facts from potential clients;
Review complex gaming applications;
Summarize court cases and develop relationships with regulatory agencies.
Mandatory Skills:
Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience
An intermediate and STRONG understanding of State, Federal judicial and Legislative processes
Strong phone skills
Strong writing skills
Strong business math skills
Strong internet search skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
