Application support engineer:
Assist in troubleshooting application issues related to infrastructure or configuration, predominantly Linux based system
Identify and establish process for stability and system health
Establish performance reports & monitors for new and existing applications
Analyze and recommend application configuration changes to improve performance
Patching and automation of the application infrastructure
Administration of Apache Tomcat, Redhat JBoss and Java 1.6/1.7 applications
Knowledge of EMC Documentum and related components such as xPlore, xCP is a must
Proficiency in administration of Atlassian products such as Crowd, Jira, Confluence is a plus
Linux system administration required for application performance optimization and Linux SA background is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
