Accountable for the design and construction of standardized surface facilities supporting new production. Accountable for the safety of employees, contractors, resources and the environment in their area.
Accountable for the management of the people and services required to construct major projects
Provides input of construction activities to the project scheduler, project engineers, and construction superintendent
Communicates project status, handover and start up commitments to Foremen and Start Up and Operability (SUO) Coordinator
Provides construction learning's and design/ SOP Feedback to major project Team leads
Inputs relevant construction costs to final project AFE
Manages major infrastructure projects construction within AFE Cost and Schedule
Engage SUO Coordinator support and ensures Construction Foreman delivers on time, on schedule new site and facilities through production hand-off
Ensures lessons learned are applied by the construction team, design team and contractors
Manages construction contractor field performance & participates in contractor assessment program
Ensures projects are constructed according to design and applicable codes and standards
Provides input to Supply Chain Team regarding delivery and receipt of procured goods
Ensures compliance with surface owner contracts and federal, state and local rules and regulations
Participates in the Execution Control System (ECS_ and performance reporting (KPIs)
Provides performance management continuous skill development opportunities for direct reports.
Accountable for risk assessments and the execution of identified mitigating actions in their areas
Accountable for the continuous improvement of their area
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or additional 3 years' experience
Typically requires 12 years of experience in production and/or facilities engineering, Rockies experience preferred
Normal office environment with travel to field operations required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
