Direct hire opportunity for a mid-level IT Consultant. Will deliver system management technical solutions to support the IT infrastructure including server and client. Responsible for numerous small and medium sized businesses to provide regularly scheduled maintenance and support. You will drive your personal vehicle and will frequently visit multiple locations on any given day. Evenings and weekends are occasionally required. This is a challenging but rewarding position that will test all of your consulting skills while keeping your technical edge sharp!
Requirements:
o A minimum of 5
years supporting diverse IT environments
o Hold or working towards MCSE/MCTS (2000/2003/2008) certification
o Full-time field consulting experience
o Basic Cisco router configuration experience
o Firewall configuration experience with SonicWall, Watchguard, Cisco ASA/PIX,
and/or NetScreen
o Administration and troubleshooting skills for all Windows Server products, including:
2000, 2003, 2008, Small Business Server, Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010
o MS Terminal Services and/or Citrix configuration/support
o System architecture design (LAN and WAN) experience
o Expert desktop support skills for all Microsoft operating systems
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent customer service skills
Other helpful criteria:
o Cisco router configuration experience for T1 and Frame Relay
o Call center experience
o Scripting experience, VB, .bat, WSH, and Group Policy
o Experience supporting MS SQL, SharePoint, CRM, and/or Project Server
