Currently, BSR seeks a Community Representative to work at Governors House Apartment Homes in Huntsville, AL. The Community Representative performs a variety of duties associated with leasing and marketing the apartment community.
The Community Representative will be responsible for the following:
o Providing information about the apartment community to the prospective resident.
o Scheduling visits to the apartment community.
o Showing apartment homes and quickly closing new sales and leasing apartments.
o Effectively explaining all lease and community policies to new and current residents.
o Maintaining accurate record of daily prospect calls and visits.
o Maintain an accurate and in depth knowledge of all aspects of the apartment community particularly in area such as rent and pricing information, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage, etc.
o Maintaining current resident lease files.
o Answering phones, typing and filing.
Requirements:
o High school diploma or GED equivalent required
o 1-2 years sales experience
o General working knowledge of computers and computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, Yardi)
o Warm, engaging personality
o Friendly, energetic with great people skills
o Excellent at both phone and in person sales
o Ability to communicate effectively
o Read and write English fluently
o Good organizational skills
o Good verbal skills
o Strong customer service skills
o Ability to close a sale
o Ability to operate general office equipment
o Ability to multi-task and commit to high performance in a busy work environment
