About the Job
One of our top clients in Mentor, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer/Technician to join their team. The primary responsibilities of the Quality Engineer/Technician will include, but are not limited to:

Supporting the maintenance of an ISO / TS-16949 based quality management system.

Conduct quality system, process, product and/or dock audits to assess status and initiate / resolve corrective actions cross-functionality based on the findings.

Identify, develop, implement and maintain SPC based solutions.

Perform metrology laboratory testing in accordance with production orders, quality assurance directives, standards and control plans. This includes the following:

Receiving, first piece and layout inspection
Gage calibration
Gage set-up and repair
Gage R&R studies
Capability studies
Rockwell hardness testing
Computer data entry
Completion of test logs and reports
CMM Operation

Qualified candidates should possess the following minimum requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years Quality experience working in an manufacturing environment. OR a 2-year college degree with emphasis on statistics or a technical discipline and three (3) years manufacturing experience.

Exposure to ISO / TS-16949 requirements and working knowledge of APQP, FMEA, CP, SPC, and PPAP

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions and quality directives of the customer and/or management.

Understands and interprets Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GT&T).

Minitab experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
