Responsibilities
United Technologies Aerospace Systems, SIS-VT is searching for a highly motivated individual to join and lead our Repair Station team. The Repair Station Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of an $18M a year repair station with around 60 employees. Typical duties include:
- Direct all activities of the Repairs Station
- Achieve and maintain required performance such as repair turnaround times, on-time delivery, and annual sales.
- Develop and implement processes and standard work that support defined performance targets
- Configure the repair facility to maximize productivity and meet future growth objectives
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective organizational structure and associated staffing, skills and training plans.
- Formulate procedures and systems to analyze performance and forecast sales levels. Monitor and report sales performance, late backlog, inventory, and status of deliveries to major customers.
- Ensure Repair Station compliance with all company policies and procedures, FAA FAR-145, ATA, EASA, DOT and all associated regulatory requirements and standards for repair and overhaul support.
-Ensure compliance with company product support agreements.
-Lead the repair shop in the deployment of ACE tools in support of future state performance objectives
- Ensure the repair team is in full compliance with the 'UTC Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government' and the UTC Code of Ethics which include ensuring subordinate staff are aware of the policies and that their responsibilities and actions comply with and support these policies.
- Ensure a safe working environment for repair station employees
Qualifications
-BA/BS degree w/4
years experience required
-MA/MS degree w/4
years experience
-Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous Operations management role in the aerospace industry preferred.
- Repair station experience in a management role with an understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with a repair station preferred.
- Demonstrated success in a repair station or operations management role (e.g. turn time and OTD improvements, sales increase, process optimization, etc.)
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with a demostrated ability to manage teams of operations personnel through change.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work contructively and collaboratively across business teams and with relevant stakeholders
- Successful application of Lean/ACE principles and tools in an operations environment

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
