Responsibilities
Seeking a mechanical engineer with diverse skillsets to support the design and development of military flight vehicle systems and components. Minimum desired experience includes high level mechanical analyses: structural, dynamic, and system simulation. Analysis verification performed as applicable with component and system levels tests and with Processor in the Loop (PIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL ) laboratory environment is considered a plus. Experience integrating GPS/IMU systems, actuation devices, telemetry systems, and target tracking systems is highly desirable. Individual must be able to work in a virtual team environment including individuals in offsite locations. Ideal candidate will be highly motivated self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment and have the ability to seek out and define system requirements, develop test plans and processes, and provide hands on testing and documentation to demonstrate airframe flight worthiness. Team leadership skills with experience in task planning and tracking via configuration management system is considered a plus. Experience working with MATLAB/Simulink, Pro E are highly desired.
Qualifications
