E-Fate & Metabolism Scientists
Position is responsible for the direction and supervision of Jr. staff dedicated to conducting a broad range of regulated studies for the Agricultural Chemical/Ag Biotech industry.
Job Summary
The E-Fate & Metabolism Scientist provides a group of regulated testing services, including analytical or biological support for regulated products, primarily crop protection products. Individual is responsible for the management and supervision of Jr. subordinate activities related to the conduct, analysis, evaluation and reporting of contracted studies. The EFate & Metabolism Scientist ensures conformance to technical, quality assurance, and global regulatory requirements. He/She collaborates with other Technical Leaders and Senior Scientists to assure overall study and program success. He/She provides overall supervisory direction to the team and may also mentor to develop more junior scientists. The group Leader will provide technical training to team members as needed and will help with proposal development. This position serves as a Study Director on highly complex studies or programs.
Job Duties
Regulatory responsibilities for the program
Liaison with Business Development within their area of expertise
Lead and manage a team of Jr. scientists
Promotes the entire company's expertise
Provide technical advice on Fate & Metabolism study design for the Agricultural Chemical/Ag Biotech industry industry
Collaborate with other departments on technical issues
Collaborate with field cooperators on in-life phase of metabolism studies
Responsible for staying abreast of regulatory changes and trends within the industry
Program management for select clients and/or programs
Job Specifications
Ph.D/M.S. degree in Toxicology, Environmental Chemistry, Metabolism or related discipline or another appropriate science field
3 to 5 years of experience in E-Fate & Metabolism within the Agricultural Chemical/Ag Biotech industry.
Prior experience managing a team of scientists at varying levels
Technical skills in regulated studies is mandatory
Ability to interact with clients
Prior Experience in a GLP environment
