Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative is looking for a Technology Director to work at the organization's Friendship Wisconsin Office.
The Technology Director will manage and plan for all aspects of ACEC's technology infrastructure and services including communications and networks; database management; data interfaces and integration between applications; information system security, management and deployment of system servers, hardware and software; desktop support; and planning, budgeting, and management of key technology initiatives.
This position will also include working closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for the organization to ensure ACEC remains cost effective, efficient, and maximizes its technology assets for increased value to its membership.
Ideal candidate will have the following required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferably in computer science, engineering, or related technology field;
-Two to five years of applied experience and proficiency with: LAN/WAN; Windows Server Environment; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft suite applications and operating systems; Microsoft Exchange; internet information services; backup systems; network workstation, peripherals; print servers; firewalls, spam & antivirus hardware/software; and computer hardware (replacing hard drives, hardware drivers, etc.). Microsoft certification professional preferred;
-Computer programming experience and must demonstrate skills in programming languages as well as thorough knowledge of current programming techniques used in implementing application systems. This includes knowledge in such areas as Classic ASP, VBScript, Javascript, HTML, database systems(SQL & Oracle), and other relevant programming languages;
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
