Position: Controls Engineer

Duties &
Responsibilities:
Create documents (drawings and bills of material) for production (projects) that fulfill the requirements of customer orders.
Create software for machine functions, including PLC code, HMI code, and drive code.
Provide start-up assistance and field service for machinery projects.
Follow defined standards (or help to create standards where none exist).
Maintain files on network, including library of key reference information.
Provide assistance to and cooperation with other departments.
Support continuous improvement process by evaluating and implementing suggestions.
Timely completion of assigned tasks.
Manage designers when appointed project lead.
Assure sufficient and accurate communication with project team.
Desired Education &
Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Associate degree in Electro-mechanical systems is desired.
Experience in design and troubleshooting of electrical & mechanical systems required. Web handling experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of software applications is a must. Allen-Bradley experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of standard servo and vector drive systems.
Engineering concepts related to control processes, power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, and web handling.
Knowledge of NEC, machine safety standards, and their application.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Ability to evaluate cost/benefit relationships as they relate to design.
Ability to maintain composure, positive attitude and organization with multiple tasks amidst constant interruptions and conflicting priorities.
Ability to work in team environment.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Willingness to provide enthusiasm and creative solutions to meeting customer needs and achieving the company's goals.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
