Brightlight seeks a passionate Jr. Data Analyst to join our highly collaborative team based out of Redmond, WA.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support, including handling ad hoc requests from large multi-petabyte environments
Interact with Hadoop and other Data Warehouse platforms
Minimum
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
Solid foundation and experience with SQL with the ability to write SQL queries
High interest in learning/using BI/DW technologies (Netezza, Hadoop, Microstrategy, etc.)
Understanding of the SDLC
Desire to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication, and time management skills
Effective analytical, problem solving, and research skills
Passion for learning and career growth
Willingness to travel as needed a plus
BS in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred
