Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior-Level Java Developer.
We offer a dynamic, fast paced environment, excellent internal growth, competitive pay, and our teams work with the latest and greatest technologies. You will be working on highly visible government projects. The candidate must be a permanent resident or a US citizen. The position is located in Reston, VA with occasional travel to DC
Job Requirements:
Over 8 years of Java/J2EE design and Development experience
Experience with Java web technologies such as XML, jQuery, XHTML, JSF, etc.
Thorough understanding of design patterns and their implementation
Working knowledge of distributed software systems
High level of drive and ability to learn
Over 3 years of pure java coding
Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to
Ability to work as a team and individually
Development experience with Spring ,Struts or JSF, and Hibernate
Keen on coding and producing
Experience/knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server)
Experience and knowledge of version control systems such as SubVersion
Experience with working in an AGILE development environment is a plus
Experience with JMS or a queue based framework is a plus
Experience working with non-technical customers or users is a plus
A definite plus is to have acted as a the software architect or technical lead
