The Senior
manager
of Product Management is accountable for leading C/L products through their life cycle including design, development, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, compliance, and retirement.
Generates, develops and drives new ideas in support of Company's niche products and organizational strategy.
Proactively seeks out ideas for new products or for changes to existing products. Must be able to develop relationships and meet with various department members, agents and customers.
Provide direction on necessary product changes due to the regulatory environment.
Monitors and communicates product performance.
Directs the development, measurement and maintenance of production, service and quality standards for Product Management employees.
Works with members of Underwriting, Sales and Actuarial to define and maintain a pricing strategy for Company's niches and products.
Serve as a product expert for Sales in the development and maintenance of training tools for agents and as a resource for product knowledge for Commercial Underwriting.
This
position
requires leadership, influence, direction the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Will supervise/lead the Product staff and work closely with other areas in the company.
MUST have strong P/C Product development and Product management experience in COMMERCIAL Property/Casualty insurance, including supervision of staff.

Skills/Requirements
o College degree required.
o CPCU, CIC, AU or similar accreditation preferred.
o 5
plus years' experience in commercial product research or development and management of staff. Experience with non- profit niche in is a plus, but open to any solid experience as a commercial insurance product manager.
o Demonstrates the ability to use commonly-used commercial product concepts, practices and procedures within the commercial department.
o Convey clear, concise information to others, using verbal or other appropriate communication techniques.
o Background in commercial lines Underwriting, Claims, marketing and/or Sales strongly preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
