Performance Profile
Lead the marketing vision and strategy for CBI in alignment with company goals, core values, and company vision
position
CBI as the premier network security and infrastructure leader with new and existing partners
Partner with business development and sales to deliver sales revenue results
Lead development and execution of all customer/partner marketing programs, including communications, content/email marketing, PR, social media, and event marketing
Support CBI sales efforts through lead generation programs, identifying and sourcing of key influencer websites, bloggers, and channels
Lead and build marketing team to meet company objectives
Drive strategic
public relations
efforts locally and nationally, including journalist, analyst, blogger outreach and relationships
Partner with Human Resources to lead internal communication programs and efforts, social media strategy and policy, and employer branding-- promoting CBI as an employer of choice
Lead development of retention marketing efforts, including copywriting and email campaigns
Monitor key analytics of marketing programs, especially conversion funnels
Source and coordinate speaking
events
and trade shows for sales and management team

Experience & Knowledge Profile

Here's what you'll bring:
Proven ability in B-to-B integrated marketing communications
Knowledge and experience of copy/design best practices, tools, vendors, and systems
Previous experience in hands-on marketing communications leadership within an IT services/reseller company
Top-level presentation skills--you're an expert at presenting to senior executives, showing the value of your marketing strategy down to specific programs and expected results
You don't just talk it, you execute and have a proven history of positive results

Core Skills & Experience Profile
Ability to create a marketing business plan and budget in alignment with company objectives and effectively manage that plan
Over five years of director or VP level experience and a proven track record of sales growth via integrated marketing programs
Ability to build, lead, and manage a world class marketing team
Superior writing and speaking skills for internal and external communications
Ability to travel up to or over 50% or as needed

Technical Strengths
Knowledge of best of breed marketing systems, industry portals, channels, blogs, etc.
