We are currently assisting one of our healthcare clients in a search for a Systems Administrator that will be on the Systems Administration and Integration Team of our customer. In this full time role, the Administrator will be responsible for the administration of clinical client/server application installations. The supported applications provide the core clinical functionality supporting several healthcare applications. Responsibilities will also include administering and supporting application custom desktop integrations and third-party event integration software. The ideal candidate will have experience administering complex client/server software installations in an enterprise level Microsoft environment.
Responsibilities include maintaining a thorough understanding of the architecture and environment of the installations, and the implications of change on the performance and functionality of the applications. Responsibilities also include coordination of change management, software and firmware installations and upgrades, development migration and deployment, internal and third-party software integration, and downtime planning and support. Associated responsibilities include supporting and facilitating the activities of the development and training teams; as well as, liaising with vendor software support teams. Fulfilling the Administrator responsibilities will include monitoring and troubleshooting the delivery and performance of the applications in development, test, training, and production environments.
This
position
is not focused on the network administration, security, routers, switches, Citrix, server side. This position is focused on the Application/Systems. The System Administrator is going to be involved in troubleshooting and monitoring the systems, and when there are problems/outages, this person will work to identify the cause of the problems. If they are application related problems then this person will be in charge of those. If the downtime is caused by other issues, such as the offsite data center, or if it is a hardware, server, Citrix, SharePoint, or other issue outside of the core system, then this resource will contact the appropriate team member to get involved in those areas to get the system back up and running. This person does stay in contact with them and is ultimately responsible for the follow up to those other teams and makes sure everyone is aware of the status of the system until it is back up and running.
Required
Experience:
Experience with administering an enterprise class client/server application installations in an organization with over 200 users.
Must have the ability to comprehend and understand the technical relationships of complex hardware, firmware, and software architectures.
Must have the ability to comprehend complex narratives, diagrams and other forms of documentation. Must possess the discipline and ability to clearly document ideas, proposals, system states, processes, etc. with narratives and appropriate diagrams.
Must possess critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to provide innovative technical solutions for system failures, and automation and integration challenges.
Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot system issues and research issue resolutions.
Must be able to analyze system metrics and interpret statistical trends to confirm performance trends and anticipate performance issues.
Must be able to organize tasks and prioritize work to efficiently complete assignments.
Must possess proficiency with personal computers, including experience with Microsoft Office applications. Must be Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio literate, and be able to utilize these tools to communicate and illustrate complex technical concepts.
Must have excellent analytic skills to include data gathering, fact-finding, and report generation using word processing, spreadsheets, and database tools.
Must be able to work well with others, including technical and non-technical peers. VMWare

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
