IMMEDIATE NEED for Castle Rock, CO - Must have Microwave experience within a NOC Environment.

General Purpose and Scope
Monitors cellular systems, associated microwave systems, data network elements and transmission network elements for alarm indications. Identifies, isolates and assists in resolving alarm indications received from the surveillance panel. Works closely with RF Engineering, Network Switching, Field Operations and Telco Engineering personnel to insure cells are on the air and operating correctly. Performs surveillance in order to minimize corrective maintenance and cell down time.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provide technical and financial/budgetary support
Design, analyze, plan and modify network components supporting GSM, UMTS, CDMA, Voice/Data Cores and IP networks
Respond immediately to critical and major alarms including trouble shooting and correction of cell problems
Troubleshoot (isolate) equipment and facility problems at individual cell sites
Monitor in-service cellular equipment utilizing network management tools and remote facilities
Run routine, entry level diagnostic commands to identify fault conditions
Respond to request for assistance from Field Personnel and various departments where applicable and assist with service restoration based on alarm conditions
Monitor circuits to the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) and cell site equipment for proper maintenance levels of service
Advise cellular technicians and network field engineers when alarm conditions exist or service may be required
Coordinate
repair
activities with Network Field Engineers concerning MTSO and/or associated cell site equipment problems and assist with problem resolution, when field notification is made
Execute appropriate network management hardware and/or software controls
Good communication skills to coordinate repair efforts and trouble reports to various departments
Document and maintain on-going system trouble reports
Provide entry level support to the cell technicians, field engineers and switch engineers on microwave systems, cellular switches, and other ancillary systems

Minimum
job
Entry Requirements
Associate Degree in
electronics
and 2 years telecommunications experience; college hours may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate
Keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain focus over long periods of time
Ability to multitask in a high pressure and demanding environment
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, along with ability to work alone
Excellent problem solving and equipment trouble shooting skills
Self-starter with ability to work in an unsupervised environment
Clean driving record and valid Driver's License
Relevant experience in telecommunications, electronics or similar training
Understanding of GSM/CDMA networks
Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable in Microsoft Windows and Unix environments
Ability to work flexible hours and maintain 24x7/365 availability
Ability to keep motivated over long durations of monitoring various systems
Solid communication skills to coordinate repair efforts and trouble reports to various departments
Strong
computer
and analytical skills

NO Sponsorships. Must be able to work in the US.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
