Our client is a Tier I Automotive Supplier located just south of Birmingham in a beautiful area of
alabama
. Currently undergoing rapid growth, an immediate opportunity is available for a seasoned professional maintenance manager with strong Tier I Automotive background, preferably in a metal stamping/welding/assembly environment.
Responsibilities and duties:
Provides general management for department in relation to maintenance functions for the facility including building utility systems, equipment maintenance and building and grounds maintenance.
Ensures maintenance department objectives are met including project, cost, quality, and safety factors.
Optimizing production machinery
Maintenance of production equipment
Installation of new production machinery and equipment
Co-coordinating maintenance activities
1.1 Specific function related duties:
Supervision of production machinery in the production areas
Generating and upkeep of parts lists
Material allocation
Disposal of used oil, emulsion and oil separators
Supervising craftsmen and mechanics and carrying out work safety instruction
Coordinating and supervising building repairs (roofing work etc.)
Checking maintenance work generally and on compressors in particular
Remedying accident prevention issues and performing tests
Setting up work places to suit production machinery design and in co-operation with production
Respond urgently during production hours in performing maintenance
Conscious of cost and production impact of downtime on any machinery and equipment
Design and implement preventive maintenance programs
Provide accurate and timely feedback about production machinery and equipment to appropriate supervisor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
