Talascend is looking for an IT Marketing Analyst specializing in keyword analysis tools
Overview:
This
position
is an in-house search marketing position responsible for all aspects of Paid Search Marketing (Digital Marketing) including paid search, display networks, social media ads. Another aspect of the
job
is for the coordination and performance monitoring of our in-house paid search (PPC) marketing campaigns. The responsibilities for PPC would include the execution of PPC projects by performing keyword research, placing ads, weekly monitoring and optimization of campaign for external search engines. Also included, would be display network, remarketing and social media ad placements.
Details:
o Perform SEM tasks 80% of the time and SEO management tasks 20% of the time.
o Apply ethical SEM best practices when performing optimization tasks such as keyword research, competitive analysis, content optimization, and social media optimization.
o Create SEM reports and analyze campaign performance.
o Understand how search impacts the design of sites, pages, and content.
o Keep up to date on current SEO/SEM strategies through continuing education, seminars, subscriptions, and self-study. Apply and share these strategies and updates with cross-functional teams and workgroups.
o Comfortable consulting with internal business partners and making SEM recommendations
Qualifications:
2 years experience with Keyword analysis tools, Google Analytics, and metrics analysis 2 years experience with optimizing sites for SEO 2 years experience with Paid Search Marketing (text and display ads) 1-2 years experience with display networks like Google and DoubleClick Good Interpersonal Skills
Desirable
Qualifications:
Experience with a Web Content Management system, would be beneficial, but not required.
Google Adwords certification Basic experience with BrightEdge SEO tool, Wordstream, and AdClarity Social Media advertising placement
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable success.
Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.
Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure.
Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools.
Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent).
Two to four years progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
